Sanaysay:

Pag-uupa ng taniman ang bagong negosyoso ng ibang bansa sa Pilipinas. Inuupa nila ang mga taniman sa Pilipinas kahit na may magsasaka nang may-ari nito. Nagawa ito ng mga gobyerno dahil nais nilang manatili ang relasyon ng nasabing bansa. Ngunit hindi ba pagtataksil ito sa taumbayan? Ipinaupa ang lupain ng mga magsasaka kahit hindi nila alam?  Maihahalintulad ang artikulong ito sa nabasa ko sa paaralan na maikling kwentong “Tata Selo.”

I. Batang anak ng isang mayamang propitaryo

• Unang sinabi ng bata na dapat hindi na lang niya tinaga ang kabesa. Sagot naman ni Tata Selo na wala siyang ibang mapipilian dahil binawi niya ang sakahan ng mambubukid. Pagkatapos ng madetalyeng pagbibigay ng pangyayari, tinanong ng bata kung ano nang mangyayari sa kanyang anak na si Saling. Hindi makasagot si Tata Selo.

II. Alkalde

• Pinuntahan siya ng alkalde ng bayan matapos tingnan ang katawan ng kabesang pinatay niya. Pagkatapos muli ng pagbibigay detalye sa nangyari na may dagdag ng kanyang mga katwiran, sinabi ng alkalde na pwede siyang habambuhay makulong dahil sa ginawa niya.

III. Hepe

• Kinausap ni Tata Selo ang hepe, ngunit pinahihirapan siya nito sa walang tigil na pananapak sa kanya habang nagsasalita ito.

IV. Saling

• Dinalaw niya ang kanyang tatay sa opisina ng alkalde matapos ilagay doon si Tata Selo. Nag-alala pa ito dahil narinig niyang may sakit ang kanyang anak. Pinauwi niya ito, malamang nahihiya sa kanyang sarili na makita ng anak sa ganoong hitsura.

• Batang gumuguhit ng larawan
• Lalapit ang psychologist sa bata, itatanong kung bakit ito ginuhit
• Sa dulo, hindi maintindihan ng mga tao ang dahilan ng bata

II. Gitna

• Tapos na ang mga therapy sessions ng bata, ngunit madalas pa rin siya hindi maintindihan ng magulang
• Mahinahon naman mangatwiran ang bata, pero palaging palasigaw ang mga magulang
• Unti-unting nang nagagalit ang bata

III. Wakas

• Lumipas ang maraming taon
• Tumakas ang bata sa bahay at naging pintor
• Naging sikat siya, ngunit hindi pa rin maintindihan ng mga tao ang mga dahilan sa likod ng mga guhit niya

Videogames has always defined a big part of who I am. In fact, I started playing games ever since I was 3, so I guess it’s no surprise that I want to be a videogame tester. It’s not just about the money, though I heard big game companies pay very handsomely just for someone to beta test their games, but it’s also about my love for the thing itself.

Another ideal job for me is to become a pilot for fighter jets. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved shows where it involved jets doing air shows and the like.

My third and final ideal job is to be a special effects director. I’ve always been fascinated by the way that movies are deemed good or bad based on the quality of its special effects.

These jobs are, I admit, a bit out there, but nothing’s really impossible if you put your heart into it and do whatever it takes to get there. Education plays a huge factor in these jobs, and the right degree will definitely get you to where you want to be.

Man can exist alone, since every man is independent in his or her own way, but man cannot maximize his talents just by being alone. Just like this guitar, man has infinite possibilities to be great, but only through the guidance of a guitarist. And even if man can show his talents to the world, it can still shine even more with other people. A band of people, each playing his or her own part in the world, helping each other grow, each having their own song to play, and in time forming one big band with the purpose to growing together. Man can be alone, but only through the guidance of God, and the help of other people, can he live life to the fullest.

A seesaw is very hard to operate alone. The object of the seesaw is for two people to use it as a means of enjoyment, and if you’re alone, then, it’s difficult just trying to use it. Love is the same. To experience real love, both parties have to be willing to play their part and grow together as a couple. I learned through this lesson that love isn’t just something that you feel, but must be willing to put an effort to, just like playing on a seesaw. Even if there are two people on it, it won’t be enjoyable until both people take part in it.
